Thanked: 10Darts and my new pistol.
I'll knock out two threads in one. Already made a post about my HK USP Compact .40 in another thread. But I love the thing. Got my concealed carry permit a few weeks ago so I carry it quite often and it's more comfortable than I ever imagined. I'll try to put pics up sometime soon.
Now for the other part. I'm about to start my third season in league play and I've been shooting with 23 gram barrels, short shafts and ruthless flights. Yesterday in the mail I got what I've been waiting for. My 28 gram barrels and a set of 35 gram red dragons. Heavy they are, but they're like lasers. Still zeroing in with them. Do any of you play darts and what do you shoot with?

I never played in a league or anything like that but years ago I used to play cricket and 501 double in, double out with friends informally. I still have a couple of sets of Accudarts from twenty years ago that were high tech at the time.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 1324522gr super thin barrels and the small flights I'll take pics when I get home...
I have a set of 22gr Impactors also super thin long barrels but I don't shoot quite as well with them I think that is all mental
That last set I bought were the bullet headed 23gr but I really haven't thrown seriously with them at all...(Bottelsen HammerHead G.T. Steel Tip Darts)
When I was throwing in league I played AA and Masters, I never really got into Plastics although I have a set I prefer Steels...Last edited by gssixgun; 07-16-2009 at 07:07 PM.

When I played in leagues I used 26gr Black Widows most of the time. I also have Gold Eagles and a couple of sets of HammerHeads (inc a set of GTs like Glen uses). I almost never play anymore, but it's still fun when I get a chance. My level of play has deteriorated to an almost laughable level, so it's a little different kind of fun now.

Thanked: 234I play in a local league, I did have a set of 22gr slim jims but they broke so I'm back to my much loved and much hated 17gr copper tungsten efforts.
I would love a set of 25gr copper tungstens, but they just don't make them any more. I prefer the feel of the copper tungsten. I need thin barrels also.
