    This 'rat cheer' is an Elgin Father Time, that was manufactured in 1899. It keeps very good time (I carry it once in a while.) It is an 18 size, which is a bit larger than the watches most people are familiar with. My EDC watch is a 1926 Hamilton 992, which also keeps good time.
    I love antique Pocket Watches. Their precision is really praiseworthy.

    I am guessing that you are joking. Elgin was the most prolific pocket watch maker in the U.S.
