I used to have all kinds of sinus issues (not related to cigars though). They got a lot better by:

1. Regular sinus rinses. Over-the-counter kits for sinus rinses will do wonders for sinus issues

2. Reducing Sugar intake.

3. Perhaps sulfites(sp?) in Red Wine (That would be a tough one for me and probably would keep drinking regardless...)

Like I said, I don't have issues when I smoke cigars which is about once/twice a week, but doing those 2 things helped my sinus problems.

I have kinda a lot of favorites, basically anything with a darker leaf. I've never been a fan of the Connecticuts.

Mine include - Ashton VSG, Illusione CG:4, Camacho Triple Maduro, Oliva Nub, Hoyo Excalibur 1066, CAO Brazilia/ Italia, Man O’ War, & I'm sure many others that I just cant think of.

I'm also a big fan of the Padron 1964 Anniversary, & Graycliff Crystal but I never feel like spending the money for them anymore.

The only way you are going to know what kind of cigars you like is to start buying samplers, or have any of the Internet sellers put one together for you. I have a small notebook I keep the bands in and make notes on each cigar I try.

I am going to ask some old questions about cigars. I have looked at all the threads and lurked the cigar forums. Sorry to rehash old I am looking at entry level humidors.

I have been on Cheap Humidors and Thompsons as well as a few others. I have thought about building my own. Right now my time is too valueble to spend on a humi so I will buy one. I think a 100 or so count is what I want I would like to stay under 100.00.

For humidification I am going with the heartfelt beads.

As for filling it I think a couple of Thompsons samplers will do. Up to this point I have regulary smoked a pipe. I usualy buy a couple of six to ten dollar cigars while on vacation. I found I like some of the offerings from Romeo y Julieta.

Cutter will probibly be a Xikar unless someone has a better plan.

Lighter will be a ronson for now and a blazer little buddy in the future.

No brick and morter around here so I am going internet.

I am an accessory junkie so I will need all the little toys.

Sinus rinses. I use one that has a squeeze bottle; the kind that use a gravity-fed pot don't work terribly well if you already have sinus issues. I "solved" my decade-long problem by getting a really bad cold. I flowed like a faucet for about 12 hours and haven't had a sinus problem since (~6 months now). (edit: I use this one )

Cuban Crafters (Google the name) sell a 100 count humi with 50 cigars for $89.95, and customer reviews seem to suggest it's pretty decent (althugh there's mixed reviews on the quality of the cigars). I'd give it a go for that price. If it's not good you should still be able to resell it on FleaBay and get some cash back, and if it IS good, the money saved can go towards filling it with fun new brands to try.
