Glad you enjoyed it. I don't know where to get them as they were a gift, but I do enjoy them too. Cheers!

First of all I am a cigar newbie. So I did not get it lit right, but I got it lit. Good flavor, reminded me of good pipe tobacco. Not the aromatic type, just a good burly cut. There were good flavors of chocolate in there that I caught. The ash is white and thick. It will hold for a while before it needs tapping off. I think it was me and my crappy lighting but it seemed to smoke better when there was little ash at the end than more. Again not sure if that was my technique or the cigar.

In the end I would by a box of these. I really enjoyed the smoke, the flavor, the burn, and the overall experience. Burn time 45 - 60 minutes. Perhaps longer if you really had a nice glass of whiskey and a wonderful sunset.

I like the La Aroma de Cuba better than the La Gloria Cubana R's but everyone has different tastes. Joya de Nicaragua are relatively common, most well stocked shops will have them or you can order them on line from a number of vender's.

At the risk of sounding waaaay out of my league: The closest cigars I have found to pipe tobacco (as a pipe maker and smoker): BackWoods. They are relatively inexpensive, are easily found, have several flavors some of which are 'out there' the grape flavor for example, but are fairly consistent. Most go very well with a good cup of full bodied and slightly sweet coffee--the flavors compliment eachother.

If you like the backwoods variety then you'll love the ACID brand cigar.

Backwoods!!!!!!!! Haven't smoked one of those since I was a teen.

Someking a Chateau Real right now. It's full flavored yet very smooth, very enjoyable.

I don't have as much time as I would like anymore to enjoy a nice cigar but it's another hobby of mine. To be honest I'll probably start parting with it cause I have a feeling the world of straight razors is gonna become my next hobby and I have enough of them already!
