Yes, they do look like they are for a nail gun being short looking compared to the bird shot ones. The bird shot looks to be made to LR spec but I think the nail gun ones are like shorts.

Yes... Hilti-loads! We used to have fun sending those with a wrist-rocket slingshot.
They would explode as they hit the pavement. We would shoot them at road signs out the car window on the highway and they would pop as we passed the sign! Lots of mischief went down......
I just bought two new guns to keep my Sig P320 company...
Smith and Wesson M&P Shield 2.0 EZ 9MMS
Springfield Hellcat
And if you do find ammo, there is a limit in many places. I did find some hp .357sig and .308 at Academy. Bought 5 boxes each with the wife's assistance as there was a 5 box limit.
I'm looking into something called Ammo Squared. Monthly plans starting at $5, pick the caliber and "shipping trigger". Say you sign up at $20/month, 9mm, shipment trigger 1000rds. When you've reached the trigger, they ship your ammo.
Oh well....Bid 235 for 500 of 115 Win FMJ on GB and won at 200 +20 to ship.
Sadly, a good deal. Another one coming up in a few hours.
I finally got my first gun! A Walther PPK/S in 380 auto. Getting reasonably ammo has been a pain. I can't shoot hp at the range nearby, and that seems to be majority of what retailers have had layely. My coworker joked I'm the type to make my own, which isn't an awful idea. That's a bit of a steep imvestment, maybe something I'll piece meal over 6 or 7 christmases :rofl2:

So far, it has been a pretty fun gun to shoot. Had 2 or 3 instances my first time out with it where the slide locks back as if the mag is empty, but apparently that's common with a new PPK. Although, hasn't been a problem after 50 shots run through it.
Nice work, Mint! Some oil and cycling before beginning is best. So many just toss a clip in and expect something extraordinary out the box with metal guns.
Feed that thing what it likes. Expense be damned! ;)
Enjoy!
