I have one of these as well, the XD45 is a great gun.
My 1911 is a Auto-Ordnance plain-jane that I put in 1911 (not A1) configuration.

I shoot mostly cast-bullet reloads. Lots cheaper than buying ammo for it, once you have all the equipment paid for.
