    Default Cigarillos

Ok, ok, I know some of you are going to laugh. However, I find myself wanting a shorter smoke. I hear I can get done with these bad boys in 15 minutes, which is perfect. I don't want a cigarette...it's gotta be a cigarillo. I want the cigar taste without the huge time investment. I like a very smooth and mild smoke. Even a touch on the sweet side is good.

I went to my local humidor and picked up Macanudo at the suggestion of the gentleman running the place. I haven't lit up yet, but something tells me tomorrow is going to be a cigar day.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to filling this hole in my life? Thanks

    Try the "club" size.

That what I smoke when I want a quick one, or when it's VERY cold outside.

The ACID that I had the other day in the Cigar thread has a "Blondie" which is smaller, they also have the KRUSH which is smaller and comes in a tin. They are sweet, but not as sickly as the reviews would have you believe. If you can handle something not as sweet as a Swisher, try them.

Also, most good tobacconists have the same cigars in the cigarillo line. Chances are that your fav stogie has a smaller cousin somewhere.

I don't know if you will be able to find these where you live (I know I will never find them in Canada), but Tabacalera del Oriente from Peru rolls some nice puritos. They are a about 4 inches long and the diameter of a pencil. Tasty and not too strong.
I went to Peru for 3 weeks in June and I had bought fat cigars in Lima and Iquitos. Unfortunately, my bag was lost. Always buy cigars at the duty free store (I bought 20 at the airport).

CLUBS! Even smaller than a cigarillo. When I was visiting a friend out of the country who could legally enjoy such delights, he was a big fan of the Cohiba Clubs. They come in a pack of 20, I believe, and they looked and smelled delicious.

QuickOrange, send me your addy, I have *something* you might enjoy.

Well, I've had a couple of the Macanudos and they're ok. The flavor seems a little generic, but it's not bad. I'll certainly finish the tin, though I don't think I'll be buying any more.
