It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain

We have these SASS clubs here in Australia, we have one just near Perth, not far from myself. Have often thought about having a go as have a Henry, '73, and some cap and balls and an old Hollis double hammer gun. Apparrently we don't do the mounted part over here, which is of course just to be difficult the most interesting part for myself. Have thought of getting my old roping horse going with the gun, as he is getting a bit long in the tooth for heading off.
Keep yo hoss well shod an yo powdah dry !

Years ago, when I owned a camera shop, a man came in one Saturday afternoon with a brown paper bag. He looked around to be sure there was no one else in the store, reached in the bag and took out a handgun! Then he said, "Can you photograph this for me?" Needless to say, I was more than a little relieved and I took the photos for him. It was an old Colt which he had written to the company about. After researching the serial number, they contactid him a year later. Wish I'd kept a print for myself. Looked like it came straight out of a Clint Eastwood film.
