    a cheap 12 gauge and a cheap bolt action .22 is all you need.

    My rifle system now is the T/C Encore, You can get interchangable barrels up to more than you want to shoot. Custom makers do some fun stuff with these, I have a few

    I'm getting a 20ga tube for birds, quail and dove mostly, to go with my 338-06 used for large game if I can't use my handguns (primary hunting tools).

    Contenders and Encores allow you to have one frame and many calibers to work with. You already seem ok with single shots so there isn't much to get used to
