My Little Buddy...
I would like to introduce to all you fine people on SRP my dog. His name is Koda. My kids named him after watching the movie Brother Bear. We adopted him from the Chicagoland Dog Rescue when he was ~5 months old. He is rotweiller and lab. He quickly became one of the kids (and listens just as well). He is now 6 years old and hasn't changed a bit. He loves his walks and rides in the car. He expects a bedtime snack every night and will sit in front of you and keep staring to let you know when it is time to go to bed. He is one of the most easy going dogs you would ever meet. Thanks everyone! You've been a great audience!

They can be great friends(and a bit quieter to have around than SWMBO).

Haha, we have a lovable mutt named Coda. But not from Brother Bear, rather named after Led Zepplin's last record because my dad said he would be our last dog.
We have added two huskies since then.

Thanked: 8Good combination. He is absoluteley gorgeous. Good combination too. Rotties are great with kids and so are labs. He must play alot with your kids. That is good because I really do think that kids need dogs. Although you might say I am very biased. I have a 3 year old lab, who is my everything.

I bet he makes a great sentry to.
We babysit a black lab/ pitbull mix and he's an out standing sentry. Unfortunately the douche bag ex-husband (sister's) doesn't appreciate him. Leaves him home alone at his danky apartment, no walks, no playing, and forgets to feed him sometimes. If ever we see a chance to take custody of him we may very well do that. He's saved my butt a few times.
Anywho, nice lookin dog.

Yeah, he loves to play. It seems that he has all the playful energy now as when we first got him. He and my daughter are always playing. She just has to walk by him and he will grab hold of her arm.
He is always on guard, but he is just the most loving dog and loves everyone. But, I truly believe that if someone tried harming any one of us that he would attack. He's not huge (about 95 pounds), but he is very strong.
