Those Fantastic Days
Just wanted to see everyone else's memories or experiences with one of those days that just makes you smile. Today for example, first day of the Christmas holidays, lie in until 10 o'clock, shower, shave, have a great cooked breakfast AND it's snowing!!!! Any one else want to offer?

Thanked: 530My dad was slated for surgery on the 26th (day after Christmas... yaaaay) because he had some cancerous cells developing on his prostate.. He went in for a Pre surgery checkup-exam-thing yesterday, and all of the cancer cells have gone dormant, or died... He doesn't need surgery, and he's currently beating cancer...
I count that as a fantastic day.

Thanked: 530I still don't know how it developed, or how it declined, but during a checkup, it showed up, and when they did Segment tests (I believe that's the name.. They take 14 samples of the infected area and test for cancer concentrations) 9 of the 14 had signs of cancer... Then, when he went to get the same test later to see how the cancer had developed/spread before surgery, only 2 of the areas had noticeable cancer cells, and a third literally showed cancer being beat (as in, the sample that was taken was mildly contaminated, and the cancer cell count in that sample gradually shrank over time)
I don't know of any miracle diet or anything he's on... I just know he's a fairly active 50 year old guy, and that I couldn't be happier!

Thanked: 102That is wonderful news - especially at this time of year. My wife is a cancer survivor. God is merciful.
