Thread: Journal Checkup

Alright gentlemen (and ladies if there were any), I wanted to do a little checkup on those of us that decided to keep journals. First, I've bought myself a new fountain pen (Lamy Safari, fine tip). It's a nice pen for what it is. I certainly intend to upgrade at some juncture, but right now I'm pleased.

I'm sad to say that I have fallen off from keeping a journal. I didn't take mine with me to Basic, so there's a good 2 month chunk missing from my journal. I intend to remedy this over the next couple days to hopefully fill in what I can. I probably still won't take the journal back with me because I don't want anything to happen to it.

How is everyone else doing with their journals?

I keep an online journal (who would have thought...) which I can print in a nice format. For offline journalling, I use an A5 Moleskine, and a Caran d'Ache mechanical pencil (for sketches, and fixing stuff - I've never used ink in a journal).
