    Default What's on your Ipod?

So what's on your Ipod, in your cd player, cassette deck, or phonograph at the moment? Here's my top picks at the moment...Pretty varied at the moment.

    1) Mad Men soundtrack (USA): the best shaving soundtrack EVER
    2) Yuna Ito, WISH (Japan)
    3) Nightwish, Dark Passion Play (Finland)
    4) Cascada, Evacuate the Dancefloor (Germany)
    5) Rippingtons, Life in the Tropics (USA): greatest smooth jazz band on earth.

    Today's playlist was:

Charles Mingus - Three or Four Shades of Blue
    Jimmy Smith - The Sermon
    Count Basie - Atomic Swing
Belle & Sebastian - The Life Pursuit
Julian Casablancas - Phrazes for the Young
R.L. Burnside - Mississippi Hill Country Blues

I usually start out in the morning with jazz and move toward something different by the end of the work day.

The Rippingtons are tight. Super tight... and fusion jazz is the best music on earth IMO.

    Have you ever heard this:

YouTube - Dave weckl Band - The Chicken

Dave Weckl is the best drummer in the history of drumming...

YouTube - Dave Weckl Drum Solo (II)
