Doh! Oh thank you Matt. The mussels go in at the end with the chopped parsely.

    Default Mussels Fra Diavolo

    My dear Icedog:

You have my palate doing the fandango with that colorful mussel symphony. Oh, what luscious photos. With a bottle of wine, mounds of sourdough bread and good company, this indeed is a feast worthy of any dance.

    Thanks for sharing your creation.

    Regards,

    Obie

    Default mussels

As an ex Long Islander/Brooklynite I can tell you that dish looks OUT****INGSTANDING! Mmmmmm I love Mussels and Shrimp Fra Diavolo.

My favorite way to have mussels though is Lemongrass with Coconut milk. Very tasty but it's sans pasta, and being a ginzo I love pasta!

My favorite way to have penne is
    Penne
    Garlic
    Capers in sea salt
    Spinach
extra Virgin Olive Oil ( Colavita is good for standard stores)

    delicious!

Thanks for the post Ice Dog.

    cheers
    David

    Thumbs up

Brad, where or how in the world did you learn that? Your mother?
    Looks fantastic.

If you were a girl, I would come calling and chase after you.

Well, My brother and I learned to cook because my mother is one of the worst cooks on the planet. When she was home the only sure thing in life was that dinner was gonna suck. This recipe I made up thursday as I was making it for dinner. If it had come out poorly I wouldn't have posted this tutorial. I don't think we need any tips on how to make shitty meals.
