I must admit, I had to google it to find out what it was as I'd never heard the name..! But you do see them around here in the UK.
I think they are a good blend of formal and informal, plus the Japanese styling is very cool I think!

They are frequently worn by Japanese students in movies (at least, western movies). Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift is one example. I don't have anything against them, they're just not my style. The poll only has extreme options...

Style is very personal. I work in a very conservative atmosphere and wear conservative type suits everyday to work.
If you have the appropriate forum to wear one and you like it, go for it.
