Default Help identifying a "Colibri" lighter (large picture)

Hey folks! I was helping my dad clean out his house when I came across this little beauty. It looks like the Debonair model of Colibri lighters, but lacks the adjustment knob at the bottom-left (in favor of a flat-head slot/thumbscrew in the same area on the bottom).

I'm thinking a knock-off brand, which is fine by me, but it doesn't seem to work. The flint functions, but there's no flame, and attempts to refill with butane haven't succeeded. Any suggestions or methods to fix it, or should I just toss it?

It could be that you're not using the right nozzel adaptor, or it could be a stuck or leaking valve. I have one that I can't get to fill, but I'm keeping it because I'm hopeful that one day I will be able to use it. It doesn't take up much space, anyway.
