Thread: Poll; How Often Do You Drink Alcoholic Beverages ?

most of the time once a week, but tI skip that too when too busy.
I started drinking early and a lot in high school, then as undergrad, but after that gradually diminished to my current state of occasional drinker.

I have a pint of bitter at the Tuesday pub ceilidh session as you can't sit in a pub all night playing without buying a drink. Cost of admission!

Sometimes have another pint after the morris team's practice session on Wednesday evenings.

That's about it.

I'm pretty much, just a weekend drinker...for the most part.

I voted weekly, but I'm not a weekend drinker. I don't really keep beer in my place anymore, but I typically keep a bottle of scotch on hand. I have a glass (1-2 shots worth) when the mood strikes. Week night, weekends - it's all the same when you're your own boss.

It used to be mostly on WK's. But since I got the Lynn VAD (vodka acquisition disorder) and now BAD (bourbon acquisition disorder) (Thx Lynn!) I think I can say i'm having a daily sip.

I voted for Daily, but its part of my job description! =P

I voted daily but I don't drink when I am on call to go to work. Some evenings I just don't feel like a drink. I however, do consider myself more than a weekly drinker. Therefore with the given options I am a daily drinker.

A lush I knew way back when didn't use the word sip, he referred to it as "taking or having a taste." And for him a finger was not held horizontally, rather vertically. A finger measured taste could easily be 8 ounces, and that tossed down with merely a small flourish.

I find it's variable; I've enjoyed a bottle of Goose Island Mild Winter on three evenings in the past week, and for me that's unusual these days. Over the course of a year it probably averages out to a few times a month.
