    Default Sundays.

    I love sundays,
Sundays are a day i set aside for things I WANT to do not thing I NEED to do. While there are things like doing the dishes nothing out of the ordinary nor anything that requires special effort.
Now that Now that I have discoverd straight shaving and the grand prix season has started my life is complete.
Last Sunday, was a truly joyous day, I woke up in the arms of the woman I love with no need to get out of bed. ~We laid there and chatted for ages before getting up.
When we eventually crawled out of the bedroom I went and decided to give my self a really good scrub. So I ran a bath and tried the hot towel thing for the first time, I then had one of the closest shaves of my life.

When i cam down stairs my mrs was waiting for me with a cafetiere full of my faverote coffe, a plate of brioche. and told me my best friend was calling round for lunch in an hour or so.

I then stood and chatted with My Mrs while she prepaid Sunday lunch,
I couldnt wait the smell of the roast beef, honey glazed roast parsips and carrots, roast onions, roast potatoes and i knew there would be yorkshire puds to go with it too.

Then my friend turned up just as the coverage of the grand prix started, and dinner was served shortly after.

the only down side to the day was the fact that it was a boring race. but never mind,

    BigIan,

I couldn't agree with you more. Sunday is the highlight of my week. My wife does not really cook, so I am the one preparing the meal, but I don't mind, I like my own cooking

I have to tell you, British food gets a bad rap. I have several British cookbooks and find the dishes very good. I am Italian, and for Christmas the last number of years I have been making a proper standing rib roast beef with yorkshire puddings. My family loves it. For desert I make steamed lemon puddings with apricot preserves. I'm getting hungary right now!

I too am very glad now that the F1 season has begun. I use the DVR since the race is televised early morning. So when I get back after a nice 3-4 hour ride the race is just finishing up. Then in the afternoon I can catch a cycling race and if not some hunting or fishing shows. That is if I do not go out myself fishing or shooting.

    Love good family sports.
