Pulling through when it's all on the line
Here's to pulling through when everything depends on it
I must admit that this post is just my way of dealing with the huge relief I feel after this weekend. Long story short, I just passed my comprehensive qualifying exam that determined whether or not I'd receive my Masters degree... two years, and tens of thousands of loans (not to mention future earning potential) were on the line, and I smoked that sucker!!
Whew, what a tense few months... and what a relief
I should be able to do a bit more thread watching, and workshop mayhem now that that's all over
just had to get that one out... I've been practically bubbling over since yesterday afternoon!

Thanked: 1Congrats! I just finished my M.A. in English not too long ago, and went through the same kind of thing with my Thesis defense...Nothing like having all that work come down to how you deal with a bunch of questions specifically intended to deconstruct your argument.
Isn't it a wonderful feeling to be DONE???

Congratulations. The only thing I ever graduated was the Ironworker's apprentice program but I still have my framed diploma and I'll never forget how great it felt.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
