Strange...I have a sudden craving for flapjacks with real maple syrup.

thebigspendur ohhhh real maple syrup, so good, this time of year we can and do tap the maple's in our back yard, and boil our own down! sooo good! but we won't be getting anymore sap to boil soon as we are now get to nights in the plus temps which stops the the sap from running!

Everything sounds delicious in this thread.
All I eat for breakfast is hard-boiled eggs and sometimes some leftover baked chicken from last night....followed by a 900mg pill of purified fish oil, a crealkaline pill, and then some arsenal x.
I'll throw in a slice of whole wheat bread for some carbs here and there, but for the most part is focuses on the eggs and supplements.

Thanked: 480
Our maple season ended already. It was probably one of the shortest in recent memory. Prices have already skyrocketed, as the syrup is in such short supply.
I must say, tapping and boiling down your own maple, has a reward not so dissimilar to honing your own blade, and the first time you taste it, is like the first time you did a str8 shave. Just such a feeling of satisfaction, and a small amount of pride. I know you guys understand what I'm talking about.

I got hungry reading this thread. Lucky for me my local grocery store has started selling maple syrup after I moved back to Norway.
