A half a year ago or so I was perusing the NY TImes obits and came across one for a fellow by the name of Jack Rose. He was in his 40s, died of a heart attack, and I had never heard of him. I read that he had been a celebrated acoustic guitar player following in the footsteps of John Fahey. They had a youtube link. So I bought a few of his CDs and think he was one great guitarist.
