Everyone wants a Vodka martini because of James Bond movies.. I prefer Vodka straight and gin in my martinis.

Thanked: 234A Martini for me is Gin and Vermouth. Anything else is surplus to requirements, doesn't need to be ice cold, room temp is fine. Doesn't need to be shaken, measures splashed in to the bottom of a long glass and replaced when empty does me just fine.
I love the stuff. Gin is a favored spirit of mine. That and scotch.Last edited by gregs656; 04-28-2010 at 10:47 PM.

Thanked: 195I have to agree with Slartibartfast about the blue-cheese stuffed olives. They are great, especially when dropped into ice cold Kettle 1 with a splash of vermouth!
