My dear Robert:

That's the one, by Jove. Why couldn't I remember it? I can't tell you how many times I had played that portion on my daily radio program through the years. As I mentioned earlier, it was perfect morning drive-time music for a classical show. Many thanks for jarring my memory. I know I should have had my porridge this morning. Well, as I was trying to recall the piece this afternoon, I found a good excuse to pour a couple extra glasses of wine.

Robert, my good man, you have quality taste in music. That's a fine and entertaining piece.

I don't know about Rhapsody, but iTunes does have it. You can go to iTunes store (under iTunes) and search in the search field and voila.

Let me know if problems finding it

Hello, Greg:

Dance of Belkis at Dawn, from the ballet "Belkis: Queen of Sheba," will not be available by itself on CD. It will be included in the orchestral suite from "Belkis: Queen of Sheba."

The suite is performed by the Philharmonia Orchestra (a British orchestra) conducted by Geoffry Simon. The CD label is Chandos, but I don't know the number of it. You can get it from Amazon.com.

The suite is quite charming.

Hello, Otto:

Yes, that's the recording (on the Chandos label) of the orchestral suite from Belkis: Queen of Sheba. "Dance of Belkis at Dawn" is one of movements in the suite. It's really lush and sexy.

Now, Belkis is coupled on the recording with "Metamorphseon." That's a different piece by Respighi.
