Thread: New Orleans Shave Shops

I'm going to be spending the weekend in New Orleans, and was wondering if anyone knew of any shave shops, or antique shops where I might stumble across some razors or other shaving gear? This is my first time to New Orleans and am really looking forward to it.

Aidan Gill Is a shave shop that offers haircuts as well. They have 2 locations. One being on Magazine street where there are plenty of antique shops to check out and the. second location is on Folton street next to Harrah's. There are also lots of antique shops on Royal street in the French Quarter.

There is also the Magazine Street Barber Shop; you might prefer that one to Aidan Gill. Regardless, you should call ahead for an appointment.

I know this thread had been dorment for a while, but i've been stationed in New Orleans for about 3 years now, any luck finding any antique stores with straights in them while you were down here?
