Try looking on etsy.com if you can't find one there look for someone that makes things similar to it out of leather and ask if thy could make one to your specifications. Out of morbid curiosity I just checked Etsy.com and there is someone who makes them out of vinyl. If you search for pocket protectors it came up on the first page.

Not that it'll help but I have had some glasses cases that were flat -just two pieces of leather. not really pocket size in width. As well, a bit too tall for shirts, nor having the flap that PT's have. (see what I mean about the help)I used mine as a divider for my mackinaw vest after the stitched dividers blew out. pen pencil pipe cleaners etc. At least you are not alone now eh?

If you want to go really nerdy forget about the protector and get a leather pen holster for your belt.

A good one in leather could be hard to find.
Google searching does find some.
Better to visit a shoe maker. Have
him take a heavy leather and make the back
and sew fine thin leather on the front. If
you have special pens he can make
slots the right size.
It is difficult to find leather thin enough that it
does not spring the clips on good pens.
Plastic ones are thin. Ink does not leak
through and they also protect the pocket from
clip wear. Perhaps a plastic one is the finer
thing in this case.
