Graduation
Gentlemen,
I have an honour to announce that we had a fine day in our family today. Our daughter Laura graduated from the high school with excellent ratings (something different than her parents back then). She is officially an adult now, and the next step in her life is up to her but she already told that she's heading for the university either in Turku or in Estonia or some other European country.
It is strange how kids grow that fast. I thought it was just yesterday when she was little girl and i had to teach her how to ride a bicycle or when she didn't want to get out because she was scared of the raccoon dogs. Now she is a young lady with a life on her own. I'm so proud.
In Finland we have a tradition that goes back about 600 years to call those who have graduated as a 'high students' and as a sign of such status they are given a white cap.
First pic is her schoolmates at the steps of St. Michael church in Turku. Second pic is just taken in our garden as she wanted to pose with her dog.'That is what i do. I drink and i know things'
