I hold Carlos Torano insomuch in the same way I hold Perdomo, Arturo Fuente and PDR.

These are old world NC (non-Cuban) masters that have created a loyal following not based on flash and packaging, but consistently superior offerings.

Keep an eye out for any CTs!!

    Cheers!

I have really enjoyed some of Carlos Torano's offerings. I have really not enjoyed some of their offerings lol. The ones I do enjoy though, massively outweigh those I didn't like. Hence, I'll continue to smoke the majority of em.

I really like that they don't go all flash and bang with advertising.

I really don't/didn't like the Silver Edition.

Man, I like Torano's so much, I bought a box of Silvers (lancerios) untested because they were on sale. The first one was awful. But that's kind of ok. For some reason, I find Torano's don't like traveling - more than others for some reason. So I put em in the old humi for a rest. They just never got better!

EDIT - I can't recall the other now. I have it in a book someplace. I think it might have been the master maduro??

I'm unfamiliar with the Silvers...have to keep an eye out for them...

They DO have a Masters line...fairly inexpensive. I didn't mind them, mind you for the price point I wasn't expecting to have my hair blown straight back...

...yes, my long luxurious head of hippy hair...blowing straight back...that's right.

Woodford Reserve IS absolutely delicious indeed, but my nod goes to Buffalo Trace!

Do you think the quality will suffer?

Ugh... hopefully their product isn't affected in the same way Marlin was when they were bought out by Remington.
