Hi fella's, what are you using to humidify your humidors? I am using a Puck in a small humi to good affect. I'm thinking of trying Boveda packs in another humi. Are they any good?
Boveda's are great - bit expensive - but great. I use Heartfelt beads. I really couldn't be happier, short of a system that would never need maintaining :).Quote:

Moreover, I keep my humis inside a chest whos bottom is lined with 8lbs of Exqusicat kitty litter lol. So the environment outside my humi's is slightly more humid than inside. It's a system I have sort of mastered. It works for me. But it's overkill lol.
I use Xikar gell jars and Xikar glycol liquid. It has done wonderfully for several years in my humidor. There are many good options, this is just my preferred way. I have no knowledge of Boveda, sorry I can't comment specifically to that.

I think I'm going to take a page out of Earcutter's manual and put my humis in a closed case.
