Because the jar doesn't breathe like a wood box. I feel that any higher and you could have sticks that have burn issues and taste bitter.

    Good Morning Gentlemen.

We are combining a couple of tobacco subjects here that will
be opened on the start of each month.
"Pipe or Cigar of The Day" will be the new thread. Please limit your posts in the new thread to your pipe or cigar of the day with pictures Of course, all the great pictures that accompany some of these posts, we hope will continue.

Sailor please keep up the good work with your photo's. I cannot tell you how many times your pictures have added so much pleasure to view.

I will be away for a few days so please don't burn the house down. : )

    It's a Connie!
As lovingly called in the old JRBB or over at herfersparadise.org. Good old Consuegras! They were Villazon seconds/overruns mostly. I copied a chart of the old pre-SCHIP Consuegras. The old Connies were tasty and cute cheap. This was when Lew Rothmans still ran JR. The quality of Connies went downhill after that. Since I haven't smoked cigars or llt a pipe the last three years, I don't what Connies are like now.
