Just enjoyed a Macanudo 1968 Robusto while firing up the grill for a ribeye. A nice way to end the day.
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

You may try a trader jack if you're in the mood for a lighter smoke they're both cheap and very nice IMHO
No that pistol isn't the only thing under my kilt, but I can tell you both of them work just fine

Thanked: 1185A completely unexpected surprise today. My buddy at work gifted me a Cuban Montecristo #5 (bought while he was on a cruise in the Cayman Islands.) Naturally, I was more than willing to do my patriotic duty and set fire to the contraband as soon as lunch time came around A wonderfully tasty cigar! It had been is his humidor for about a year so it was a bit firm but My Word! What a nicotine wollop. I'm no nicotine whimp but this thing kicked my butt. I returned from lunch feeling like I had done a 12 martini lunch. And that very seldom happens to me, in fact I've been none to fall asleep with a mouth full of snuff.
The post-dinner, out on the porch, with a cold beer cigar was an 829 Maduro Torpedo. Very nice as well.Last edited by 1OldGI; 01-20-2012 at 01:46 AM.

Good Times
After a great 1st full SR shave without touch ups this morning I decided to come out to The Wooden Match to enjoy a food, beer, and cigar pairing (not necessarily in that order). Good times!
Btw, the cigars tonight are the 5 Vegas Gold, Classic, and Maduro. The beers are by Brooklyn Brewery and include their Lager, Brown, and Chocolate Stout. The food included, spring rolls, perogies, brats, and ice cream. In my opinion they did a great job of complimenting flavors.
What do you all like to smoke and drink together.?Last edited by hloyallen; 01-22-2012 at 01:25 AM.

Back when I used to smoke, I smoked a lot of Lucky Strike non-filters so everything paired well together due to the loss of taste I experianced from them.

Good evening. I just finished a Cohiba Black (great smoke by the way) and used a new cigar cutter I just bought that blew me away. Have you heard of a Shuriken cigar cutter? I've seen them on Ebay and found one at my local cigar shop for $20. I figued I try it. It dosn't cut the end off, but makes six slits in the cap leaving it in tact. Looks like your smoking an uncut cigar. I was skeptical when I bought it, but I like it. I got good draw and the cigar burned evenly. I don't mean this to sound like a commercial, but like I said it blew me away. Has anyone else tried one?
