Good old standby PSD4, always an excellent cigar.

Padron... enjoyed it as I mowed the yard.
I don't know enough about cigars to tell you which "model" of the Padron line it was, perhaps the Londres... It was the one that cigar afficianado rated in the very high 80's many years ago and cost under 4usd each at the time... it has retained it's charms and low price over the past decade.
Think I paid about 3.90usd per on this box... it'll last me about 2 years as I don't smoke more than about 1 per month.
It's a somewhat short cigar of modest ring size... very good "peppery" spice to the flavor. Even burn and a good draw.. it's been my "go to" cigar for quite some time now.

nice thread you guys got going here.
i had a few boxes of cigars when my dad went to cuba in 02 but sadly they are all gone now(Cohiba, Monte Cristo, Romeo y Julieta)
I must say they were some mighty fine nights with those cigars.
Ive actually been thinking about starting to keep some on a regular basis. What do you guys recommend as a necessity to keep the cigars fresh and perfect, or any other accessories you think are important.
i take it zippos are not recommended for lighting these are they?
Also what are some brands that you guys enjoy?Shaving_story on Instagram

Smoked a Fuente Shark yesterday and it was superb, as to be expected. Going on a 3 day golf trip this weekend and I'm sure many good cigars will be smoked.
As far as keeping your cigars in good shape, a good starting point would be to pick up a desk-top size humidor and season it correctly. Just google "seasoning a humidor" and you'll find more info than you ever need. LOL. I recommend beads from Heartfelt Industries, Cigar Humidification, Cigar Humidor Humidity Beads, Heartfelt Beads, quality Cigar Accessories to any and everyone as far as keeping the humidity perfect in your humidors. I prefer the 65% beads, but others like 70%. Feel free to PM if you have more questions, or check out BOTL or Cigar Asylum Cigar Forum, two of the best cigar forums on the innerwebs.

Thanked: 530Took a trip out to a Tobacconist today for my first real cigar, and came home with an Oliva Series G, a torch lighter and a cutter. (Fun fact, if you're ever in Medina, hit up "Medina Cigar & Tobacco"... They have a modest but nice pipe tobacco section, and a huge supply of cigars in a walk in humidor for good prices... Also, Wednesday from 1-7pm is happy hour... 20% off cigars and, if you smoke it in the building, free beer until the smoke is over)
Anyways: Went there, came back with an Oliva G for the humidor and one for me, a torch lighter, and a cutter. Now I just need to wait for my Heartfelt humidification beads, and my digital hygrometer... My tobacco palate may not be the most refined, but the Oliva was still a wonderful smoke.
Cheers,
Jeremy
