Enjoyed a mini MonteCristo with a glass of JB after dinner. Still too chilly out there for a real slow burner.

Great little smoke. Smooth draw, nice heat and a very Eastwood-esk kind of feel.

    Cheers gents.

I have really, REALLY, come to love all things Alec Bradley (A.B.) as of late. I don't think I have had one of those though. They have a new Connecticut that's calling my name too.

That said, I find he seems to have consistency issues at times... I might be loopy. I am loopy. But that A.B. Maxx? Have you tried that? I have had some that were just "whatever," and others that had to be the next thing next to godliness if one likes a sweet smoke!

Maybe I need to rest them longer? I don't know - all I do know is that I'll chase that cigar because of the two or three I had and LOVED till the cows come home lol. Maybe I should just buy a box .

I have only smoked the Prensado, the Family Blend and the Black Market
I like them all but i cant put them along side any of my favorite cubans.

Oh, I'm not trying to rub it in though!

So its been a while since I have smoked anything "new" or at all - what with all this snow here lately. But the weather has picked up and today just seemed like the day to lite up this Macanudo that was so generously given to me by Famous Smoke here about two or so months ago.

    What's this? A cigar that doesn't need a humi!?

Now here's the thing - I don't like Macanudo's as a rule. I like a Connecticut wrappers even less, but what's cool about this cigar was the packaging. Labeled "Locked-In Humidity," this has to be one of the greatest Idea's EVER!! No humi needed!

Nice packaging really - informative too!

Like I said, the cigar didn't interest me, but the packaging did! So I guess the question is, how did it smoke. Well very well, thank you for asking lol.

That's right!! No shoes needed outside today!! Woot.

Seriously - I hate this cigar but it's smoking like a champ! This packaging is freaking awesome because it works. It's a "little" dry but dang, I really hope everyone starts doing this - what a great freaking idea!!
