Not many of Pete's smokes disappoint me I dont go to as many hurfs as I use to. A lot cheaper if i didn't always end up buying more cigars. I have enough to smoke 2 a day for a year without buying more. Of course some of them have been sitting for 3-5 years

HdM Epi#2, box from '04. Delicious, watching the sun set with a cup of freshly roasted Java.

Yesterday I smoked the New Havana Cigars Limitada Reserva. This is a "house brand", but the cigar shop is owned by a buddy of Pete Johnson so these are basicall a Tatuaje Brown label cigar, and the one I smoked had the delicious broadleaf wrapper on it. I highly recommend these cigars for any fan of Tatuaje's other products.

Pete does make a special cigar for certain shops. It is a limited release and you are involved in the blending process. Personally would think it would be great to sit there with him and blend your own cigar

Yesterday I had a Nica Libre Principe that Slartibartfast sent me. I liked it, once the initial spice calmed down. Burned very well, smooth earthy flavor, and a nice box press.

I like the Libre's. Very Padron 64 anniversary like. I liked the torpedo's the best. A little fuller flavor.

Sitting on the deck after a day at the ocean with the family. Working on 3 fingers of Oban 14 and a 4 year old Montecristo #2 Habana. Life is goooood.

I got a box of the Nica Libre about a year ago and was surprised, for the price they're pretty good. I know they're compared to the Padron but that's WAY off the mark, they're nothing like Padron, especially the Padron 1926 series. None the less, still good for the price point.

I would have him make me a T110 blend in a corona gorda size with the Reserva wrapper. Strength and flavor in loads!

Yesterday I smoked a Fuente 8-5-8 Rosado from the latest (6months ago or so) release of these limited cigars. Wow. Really wish I had more but they were all snapped up and are being hoarded.
