    Default R&J Anniversario

Let's see. Romeo & Julietta Anniversario; NOT one of my 125th 9-10 yrs old and just getting better;I'll be smoking a 125th (original double bander) next month in honor of the late owner of my local smoke shop.
Damned if I can remember the 2nd smoke. Maybe a Fuente Opus X Lost City. No, that was yesterday. Tomorrow, probably an original R&J Museum and a 2nd edition Museum (there's an R&J promo tomorrow)
So many cigars, so little time to smoke them all.

Romeo & Julieta promo event went well this afternoon; one of the best sales days of the past 4-5 years. They found a box of 100 Bond 007 cigars (from 2002). The R&J rep said he's pretty sure they're the same blend as the original double band 125th anniversary from 2000; he hasn't seen any of them in at least 5 years, so he bought 15 for himself (at the store price, no special discount). I picked up 10 myself, along with the last 8 original Museum Edition (gold cap), plus a box of Reserva Real coronas to send to the troops overseas. Got a full box worth of mixed R&J as bonus for what I bought, and won a 125th box (just the box, no cigars) which will probably be a birthday or Christmas present for someone.

Rocky Patel Edge torpedo. THe box read: "Warning: for professional smokers only. Sit down while smoking this." Definitely felt the nicotine, but nothing extreme. Then again, I'm a pretty experienced tobacco connoisseur...

Nice smoke. My local has trouble getting it.

Last night I lit up a R&J Bully. Kinda young, but enjoyable smoke. Enjoyable enough that I plan to do it again tonight with my good friend while enjoying some Hennessy.

Well... my b-day is July 14th, but I don't mind early presents

I was rooting through the humidor this morning to see what I wanted to smoke tomorrow. Found a box of CAO Extreme Lanceros I got at my local tobacco shop CAO promo a couple of months ago; I almost forgot about them. They found four boxes of them in the back room. The were gone in 60 seconds (well, o.k. it was more like 2 minutes), I got one box, and the CAO rep grabbed one for himself. They've been hiding in the back for at least 5 years, probably more. Tomorrow should be a good day; the extreme and probably a Perdomo 10th Anniversary maduro......and a Partagas Black. A couple of hours of pool late afternoon with a nice local porter, maybe a wee sma dram of Glen Livet Nadurra.

A Montecristo # 4 on my deck this evening. The first one this year.
