    Default 5 cent pieces...

My coin collecting itch has been calling me... Doesn't help that the biggest coin shop in the central vally (that I know of) is across the street... Evil I tell you...

I'm adicted to Seated Librety Half Dimes, NOT NICKLES!!! Ok I feel better

Anyone else have a interest in type coins?

I'm not a big collector so my collection (like my razors) are of the used veriety. I don't mind others knowing I have these things as they have a much lower value (plus I'm not 100% where they are hiding at the moment). Pluss I have no gold coins and those are where the stupid $$ is lol...

I'm going to be dropping off my extras, misc type coins I got when I didn't know what I was really interested in, so I can get credit for some posable key dates

It's funny how these hobbies seem to overlap. My coin interests (1837-1873) very much overlap my razor interests

Ok I'm going to sleep and dream of finding goodies tomorow

My favorite old coin is a gold 1861 20D piece, for kicks I also have some Civil war era merchants pennies. I also collect "junk" silver coins from early 1900's up to when I was a kid and everybody had silver in their pocket. I also have a few half dimes.

I have a couple of seated half-dimes. One was actually found on the side of the road believe it or not.

Been collecting coins most of my life. (Good stuff at the bank!)

Mostly pocket change. My dad was a paymaster, so he'd bring home bags of coins to search. (This was done in the '50's.) So, I got complete (circulated) sets of Lincolns (no 1914), Buffalos, Jeffersons, Mercuries, Roosevelts, etc.

My most recent interest is ancients. It's surprisingly cheap to acquire a coin from each century in which coins have been made.

I have one seated Dime my grandmother gave me with a handfull of coins she says she got on a trip to Mexico after the war. She said they where in everyday change, picked as they went along. There was even a 1913 Japanese coin

I'm always on the lookout for odd balls, but they are always among the circulated veriety
