She was the first chick that told her husband, "you were a little rough with the beaver". I'm a fan of old movies, I have to say, Lauren Bacall, really tripped my trigger, via To Have and Have Not. Sassy and sweet.

I'm reminded of this scene from Leave it to Beaver. The Beaver smoking a huge meerschaum pipe. Apparently he's not as accomplished a pipe smoker as his old man :) Sorry, I couldn't find the whole bit in one shot so here's part 1

and apparently afterwards, Larry procured some actual pipe tobacco. Apparently it didn't go very well either

C&D Billy Budd in a 7769 Kaywoodie (pre-1938). What a fine smoke this pipe is.

So my wife saw a "daily deal" for a Scotch tasting at the Robusto Room for my dad's birthday. Of course, I couldn't let him just go by himself. Being the good son that I am, I went with him to sample some fine, single malt Scotches. :D

Butt of an Opus X Perfecto mixed with Dark Watch smoked in the Meerschaum church warden, using a Zippo Scrimshaw pipe lighter and a Mule Deer antler tamper.
Morning Smoke: Irish Flake in a Flame Grain Meerschaum Kaywoodie. Full no kidding tobacco taste and vitamin N content. I find this tobacco quite similar to a full bodied cigar.
I had some Samuel Gawith Firedance Flake last night. Can't say it did much for me, glad I only had a sample and not a whole tin!
A little bit tired...
Yesterday we were in Leipzig. We got an invitation:
