I bought 2 new Peterson tins, Connoisseur's Choice and Irish Oak (was going for Old Dublin, but got confused :)).
First thing that struck me was a sour note from freshly opened tins, especially from Irish Oak. Is this something normal? I never smoked Peterson tobaccos before, only MacBaren. I transferred both tobaccos into glass jars and left them to dry a bit as they seemed a bit too moist and sourness was gone.
I smoked 2 bowls of Connoisseur's Choice yesterday and I really enjoyed it. It had a sweet fruity punch at the beginning which I really liked. And room note is girlfriend approved, which is a big plus. :D Irish Oak is to be smoked.
