Friday evening pipe. It's getting dark here although it's only about 23 pm. Summertime is soon just a memory. Commonwealth from Stanwell. Stary Melnik lager. Excellent.

Love when the Latakia is blended just right so you get teasing little sips of it thus making ya want more !:)
Propaly McB's 'Latakia blend' might be just perfect for you, sir.
I guess i've spent my life by inhaling exhaust gas, burning oils and gunpowder and whatever induatrial grade chemicals (our gas masks are joke) so propably my sensitiveness is not quite it might have been.
After tasting this this McB Latakia i thought it was ok and good (but where the heck is Latakia?).
Then again, with Dunhill 'Night Cap' or St.Germain's '1820' you get all the Latakia you ever wanted and more :gl:
I've noticed a distinct love/hate relationship with Latakia. From what I've read, people either love it's addition to a blend, or they are in the, "it's like burning tyres" camp. I haven't noticed this with anything else. I guess the only other flavour adding tobacco I can think of, Perique, doesn't seem to have the same, defined, hate group associated with it. Personally, I like it. Not really trying to make a point here, just some casual, Friday afternoon observations.
