Have a nice weekend!
Spent the saturday evening at the rocks behind the house, by the sea, by fishing with wifey. Actually we got few breams and whitefish to make something delicious tomorrow. Had some Erinmores from my allrounder Jirsa.

What a great way to spend the evening! Enjoy days like these before that white cold stuff reclaims your beautiful land!! BTW, have you ever heard of the Draugr? I saw a show about zombies and they mentioned him. Just curious. Have a great rest of the weekend!!

Thanks. Days are still warm but it's already freezing at nighttime. Up north they already got their first snow. Damn. About 9 months and the dark season to live until next summer.
Never heard of Draugr but it must be Rahko (might also be a nasty creature named Kratti) in Finnish mythology. Rahko wasn't a dude you'd like to meet. Loviatar or Louhitar war similar, but woman.
There were at least two groups of dead people in Finnish/Scandinavian mythology. There were 'kalmaväki' (dead people) and kirkkoväki (kyrkogrim/Church grim). Some of these folks were good, but most were not. You better lock your doors when they are on a move :D
Ancient mythologies (and not only Scandinavian) are very interesting. And what's more interesting is how many of todays beliefs and manners have their roots in faraway ancient times. Some almost unchanged. Most of our religious holidays etc are much older than 2000 years.
Have a nice weekend too.
