They really work very well and are quite retro stylish too. Like you I struggled with whether to buy one or not. Then finally the one in the picture was gifted to me by a friend who new I was a huge fan of PA. I dig it and it's in far better condition than most I have seen.
One for my mate Steph, but the rest of you blokes can enjoy the picture as well...Smoking like a Hobbit with a Peterson Churchwarden and a tin of Amphora.

Glad that you've managed to scrounge up some baccie for yourself. Is that Welsh you are writing? :)
I did a small whip repair job that brought me in a little extra spending money, so I got me a bit more baccie to celebrate. :) Welsh is written with regular everyday Latin Alphabet Ed. What is written above is done in Tengwar, one of J.R.R Tolkiens invented language forms. Tengwar comes in a few forms. Quenya, Sindarin etc. and few 'modes' or variants of the same. ;) And to think, I hated Lord of the Rings as a kid! :D.

I should clarify that I knew that was not Welsh, and that Welsh uses the Latin alphabet. :) just for the benefit of those that don't thread hop (or stalk if you prefer).
Yes i also knew that you knew that i knew, but like you too I didn't know if others would know that I knew that you knew that I knew.
Phew. Its always good to explain things for clarity isnt it.
There is a slim chance that I have just repeated you, well paraphrased as a minimum, but I knew that you would know to expect that might happen. :)
Mick my good man....That is a beautiful Hobbit like Shirewarden...and your Tengwar, well .....Elrond would be proud. I am officially on my Friday now and smoking the Vikiing in a Hobbit/Dwarven Fashion.Smokin that good old Virginia No. 1 and Pilots Mix together...deeeeelish ! No Tengwar though alas. I do wish I could write like that let alone understand it. Beautiful Mate. May you be forever with Pies and Cider .:chapeauAttachment 140023
