My playlists include a wide variety of music:
AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Stray Cats, Cherry Poppin’ Daddies, Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, The Clash, Elvis, Chuck Berry, Kicking Harold (did the theme song for Chip Foose’s show Overhaulin’), lots more.
From back in the day when Christmas Specials were indeed 'Special' and saying Merry Christmas wasn't frowned upon.
Merry Christmas to All!

@WDCB Chicago "DCB JAZZ" with Bruce Oscar. 1/2 classic Jazz, 1/2 Christmas Jazz.
My goto station for Jazz from 2 PM - 7 PM Central Monday-Friday when Bruce Oscar's show airs.
It's my understanding that Ian taught himself to play the flute. While I find it hard to believe that this young lady has been teaching how to play the flute for ten years (perhaps she's one of those blessed with holding her youthful looks) I don't doubt that she was classically trained.
I really get a kick out of her facial expressions during this 13:38 review.
I hope all will enjoy it:

Nightwish - Ghost Love Score
I’m over 70 and never thought I’d like anything “metal”, but this is sublime.

Something quiet for a Sunday evening. You know, if they keep at it, the backup singers here might just be able to make a go of it in the music biz... :)

A different Simon and Garfunkle Sound Of Silence
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=u9Dg-g7t2l4
I've heard that one by Disturbed and it's excellent, especially if a person knows what the song is about.
have you heard the Pentatonix version?

"Silence is true wisdom's best reply"
Euripides
That is one of many proposed meanings but Paul Simon never really said. Art Garfunkel says it is about people's inability to communicate.
Edit: At least from what I've read. That is the context under which I quoted Euripides. These days we all seem so quick to insert our 2¢ worth, myself included. It has become too easy to lob volleys from the bushes of perceived anonymity afforded by the internet. It is one of the many banes of modern technology.
"The one who has knowledge uses words with restraint, and whoever has understanding is even-tempered. Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent, and discerning if they hold their tongues." PR 17: 27-28
I convict myself by this proverb
There are several different understandings of the words to Sound of Silence as you say.
I believe the song is about a nightmare as many others do based on the words, here are the first two verses:
Hello, darkness, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence
In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone
'Neath the halo of a streetlamp
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence
For linking a youtube video rather than a link, this is what works for me. This is on a PC, no idea how things look on a phone...
When you hit reply, look for these links, and click on the film icon:
