I like Gordon Lightfoot just like I like many types of music & artists. I'm not much into rap though. I clicked on something someone posted one day & it had rap in it & you should have seen my dog. His ears perked up & he looked at me with his head tilted like "what the hell is that". It was priceless. I need to try it again & see if I can get a pic of him doing it!
Aloha!
I've been streaming a bit of "The Monocle Radio" lately from London (Yes, the UK). Great world music and world news with some interesting featured talk shows. But their world music is the gem for me. French, African, German, Scandinavian, US and GB. It's all included.

Same company that produces "The Monocle" magazine available at Barnes and Noble. An amazing magazine as well.

Going back for this one, classic band from the late 80's and 90's, pioneer of the Grunge scene and Riot Grrrl music scene.
Heard that DC Comics based the character "Harley Quinn" on one of the singers in the band, Donita Sparks....enjoy:D

Phrank I met L7 in Minneapolis back in the day.
Well, my girlfriend was more into the band at the time and so got me listening to them for a bit. They were giving an interview at a Minneapolis radio station, my girlfriend had the idea for us to just wait in the parking lot, you know - stalker ambush style. It worked! They even signed her... tape? CD? Man, I think it was a tape.
This was it... Bricks are heavy

George Thorogood puts on a great show! I have some really close pics of him & his band at a club I went to here. I need to find them. Some man was there & saw all the nice shots I got of them when he saw my viewing screen on the back of my camera & wanted a copy of my pics, gave me his email but I never sent them to him. I wasn't going to let him have them at my expense.
Now for anyone who likes a variety of Blues..............every Sunday here in Houston, KPFT 90.1, you can pull it up on your computer for live streaming. They start at 6am-5pm, then after that is Bluegrass.
