Here's some more Stevie Ray Vaughn from his last performance on Austin City Limits. He was off drugs and alcohol and was just having fun playing. Watch at about 2:36 or so when he breaks his High E string and how he doesn't miss a beat. I think that he did miss one 'strum' after the new guitar was ready. OH! The guitar that he was originally was using was what he called '#1.
Stevie was another who we lost way too soon and not his fault. He'd finished a show with his brother Jimmy, Eric Clapton, and I believe BB King and Buddy Guy. People were still leaving the show when he got on a Bell Helicopter to go home and it took off and then went down just over a hill from where the show was killing all on board.
