I had a 1979 FS1-E DX when I was 16. They were the bike to have in the 70s at 16 and I loved mine.

I've got a 1975 Suzuki RE5 (the rotary bike in the picture) in the garage, waiting for its moment to be restored. In line ahead of it are my 1967 Yamaha YL-1 and 1985 Mazda RX7 (mostly because the RE5 is wedged in between the garage wall and the RX7). Maybe I'll post some pictures up later.

That's right, here in Europe, riding a motorcycle is the best transport in the cities or just making the home-work route.
In the second half of the 20th century, the motorcycle industry in my country bloomed. Lots of brands and factories popped up.
Based in Aveiro, Casal was Portugal's largest motorcycle manufacturer, founded in 1953. In the 1970s the company began exporting mopeds to many European countries. The company ceased trading as Casal in 2000.

    Brings back memories.

    Love that Vincent.
What grit is that Norton and how often do you 'lap' it at the track?

Saw a guy riding a Fizzie last weekend. Not exactly exotic, but sought after these days for nostalgic reasons, most were thrashed to death.

There was a nearly complete YAS1 on ebay a few months back and I quite fancied buying it. It fetched £700 more than I paid for the brand new one I bought when I was 16.

Unfortunately, I managed to lap bits and pieces off of it several times.
