Default What should we name him?

As many of you know, we recently had a litter of AKC German Shepherd puppies. The reason for the litter is because of how wonderful a dog Kyra is, she has all of the traits that a German Shepherd Dog should be. It took almost two years for us to find the right male for this one time litter. Now we have two black & tan males (one that we will keep), two black & tan females, and two sable females. Stud services were paid for.

What I am asking of my fellow SRP'rs is to help us to come up with some names for him. We've wanted to stay with a German name, but who knows...

Why not just name him Sheffield or Solingen? Sheffield seems like a very good name for a German Sheppard.

Call him "Schweinsteiger." It's hip (name key player on the German world cup team) and kind of cool, and you can nickname him "Steiger", but you will sound authoritative when you notice he has peed on the living room rug and you yell "Schwein-stei-ger, you come down here right now!"

Or you could be cheeky and call him "Speick". It would sound retro US (many American dogs named Spike) but you'd know he was named after a great lathering shaving cream!

    BURKHARD
    Gender: Masculine

    Usage: German

    Pronounced: BOORK-hahrt [key]

Derived from the Germanic elements burg meaning "protection" and hard "brave, hardy". Saint Burkhard was a bishop who founded several monasteries in Germany in the 8th century
    John

Those are some good ones...keep them coming!

What we came up with so far are:
    Amadeus
    Berlin
    Hans
    Rugar
    Guntar
    Schindler
Wusthof (one of the best blades I have owned & my favorite that we have come up with)

____________ von Goodman Haus is more than likely how we will name him on paper.

Male German Shepherd really needs a masculine name. I would suggest something that is easy to say and easy for the dog to learn. Not any Engelbert Humperdinck - like names.
As someone who speaks foreign language i cannot suggest you any. We have 3 female Briards (Brie Shepherds). All are named after cheese brands
Mira, Aura and Feta. Obviously my wife likes cheeses very much.
'That is what i do. I drink and i know things'
