    Default The Glenlivit 21 Archive

Start of a long weekend. A wee bit of Glenlivit 21 to start it off. After, I'll finish with a small bowl of Penn State Butter Pecan Ice Cream.
    Okole Maluna!

Default There are a number of variants

'Livet is dang good. I like the sweeter variants (glenfiddich, and the like). If you get an opportunity, there are a number of 'finishes' for the sister scotch Glenmorange. If you come across the 'Portwood' finish. It's worth a sip.

Penn State Butter Pecan!!!! Wow! I was with you on the livet, but this is a whole new level. That is some of the finest ice cream known to man. But unfortunately it seems as though that's the only good thing going on in the Happy Valley these days.

I also enjoy (quite a bit) the Glenfiddich scotches. This is one of my favorites.

I've heard some Alum are not happy, however I think it is still a great school. My daughter attends so I've been there a few times lately which is how I have possession of a bit of their ice cream.
The Butter Pecan goes really well after Scotch.

Good call. I think I’ll have a wee dram myself. Cheers!

Elliette suggested we break out the Laphroig last night. We both had a wee dram. Surprisingly, that bottle's lasted for over a year.

Penn State is a fantastic school. You're daughter will no doubt get an excellent education there. I was referring to how dreadful the Lions looked on Saturday. That was painful to watch.

I got a couple of small freebie bottles of Glenlivet on a flight recently after I'd drunk them out of JW Red Label. I enjoyed it.

I've got maybe a 1/5 of a bottle of Glenfiddich 15y/o, and I'm not that fussed about it at all. Got some of the 12y/o one knocking about here some where. It doesn't do much for me really.

I picked up a litre of Glenmorangie as it was on offer in a supermarket recently, it's still my favorite!
