Default I'm done with my President restore

This was my Dad's 1959 "President", my seat for my first haircut 32 years ago and my first barber chair restoration!

That is a beautiful piece. Looks like you did a great job on the restore and should be eye candy for years to come. Congrats and thanks for sharing.

    Outstanding work!

    But... I have to ask...

On which part of the restore did you use that sledgehammer?

Exquisite! A beautiful restore with a family history. I really do like the looks of that style chair but have to admit I have never had the pleasure to sit in one. Well done!

The sledge is for anyone who doesn't wash up before trying to sit in it!

does it have ashtrays? I remember the chairs I used to get my haircut in when I was a boy had ashtrays in the armrests.
