Almost forgot, Punch Rare Corojo's are another staple in my humi. Being a seasonal release I get a box of two then put them away until the next years release. Then I get them out and replace them with another box of two. That way they always have a years rest + on them.

Thanked: 1Basil, I'd recommend the following for best cigars for their price:
Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 or 1992 Robusto (I like the '92 best, both are good)
Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 (Black Label)
CAO Maduro
La Flor Dominicana Ligero 300
La Gloria Cubana Wavell
Flor de Oliva (come in a bundle but are a pretty good everyday cheap smoke)
Padron 3000 Maduro (I kept these in my humidor for 2yrs and they were better than everything above).
Some cigars that are my favorites:
Ashton VSG Robusto (probably my favorite cigar)
Tatuaje Conjonu 2003
Don Pepin JJ Series Torpedo
Arturo Fuente Hemingway Signature
Arturo Fuente King B
Padron 1964 Aniversary Exclusivo Maduro
Opus X (if you can stomach the strength, they are rare and good. FYI, I would not pay more than $13 for one of these)
I don't stray too much from that. As a rule of thumb you cannot go wrong with anything Padron, Rocky Patel or Don Pepin Garcia (his line and what he blends for other companies) make. Hope this helps.

I'll second the thoughts on the CAO maduros(well mostly the MX2 and the Gold Maduro), the CAO America is a good one if you can get one to draw decent, Punch Uppercut, Drew Estates Java(if your a coffee fan), Camacho Triple Maduro(little more pricey but good). All are some of my favs with the CAOs being the best priced.

Thanked: 0Sorry for this being my first post, but I could talk for days about cigars. Seeing that you are in Toronto you are probably referring to mostly CC. Less expensive/great tasting CC's would probably included Ramon Allones (RASS, RASCC), Diplomaticos (#4/#5), Bolivar (BBF, PC, CE); Jose L. Piedra Creamas are a very consistant, great tasting budget smoke. If you have access to NC smokes, as noted above, Padron 2000/3000 are great for the price, anything Tatuaje (although a little bit more pricey), and Alec Bradley Tempus are all great lower cost smokes. I hope this helps.

Thanked: 20H.Upman
I enjoyed my H. Upman "Churchill" until my last heart attack, at least I enjoyed every puff and no regrests at all. Juan

Hey Basil,
I hear ya and can relate. My Padron habit was consuming my meager "vice" budget. The price of several new razors was going up in glorious blue-gray clouds.
Please consider this - A pipe with one of these tobacs:
Robusto - G.L. Pease
Billy Budd - C & D
Dominican Glory Maduro - Mc Clelland
Habana Dream - C & D
Best,
Jimbo

Basil,
I didn't mean to be a jerk.
My favorite inexpensive smoke is a JR Tobacco "Alternative" Cohiba Double Corona. About $45 for twenty. High demand makes them scarce at times. They are OFTEN out of stock and when you are lucky enough to get a bundle, they are almost always too young to smoke. They need usually need, at least, a couple months in the humidor.

No offense taken jimbo.
I'm always looking for something else to try so maybe a pipe will be that next thing I try out.Shaving_story on Instagram
