    Default Jewelry for the ladies

I've recently fallen in love with the jewelry that famous architect Frank Gehry has designed for Tiffany & Co.

Tiffany & Co. | Item | Frank Gehry® Torque ring in sterling silver, wide. | United States

It is so beautifully simple and elegant and some of it is even decently priced!

For all you guys out there, there are also some pretty snazzy cufflinks.

Sure, this isn't the typical cigars, pipes etc that usually fills the Finer Things forum, but maybe this could be useful for you men looking to buy your lady something nice for Christmas

My wife saw those recently when we were in California.. she actually thought they were for men and asked me if I liked the design of them. I do like the cuff links though but currently am trying to stay away from those as I have heard of CLAD and really can't afford that and RAD at the same time .

I am completely in favor of Gehry doing jewelry work. The more time he spends on them, the less time he has for architecture.

There ain't no bargains at Tiffany. That price for a small Sterling ring is robbery I don't care if Frank Lloyd Wright designed it.

I'm actually and architecture student and am very well aware of his work-and I couldn't agree more completely.

I'm not just tired of his aesthetics, and I am, but I have worked in one of his buildings. For that reason, I am aware of how functionality and structural integrity (envision walls pulling apart from one another) don't seem to be major factors in his designs.
