What's your philospohy on enjoying life?
Obviously, if you are part of this forum, you are definately into
"enjoying life"
What advice would you give those folks who are more interested in being offended and complaining then they are in enjoying life?
People who look at ever situation subjectively rather than objectively evaluating it before reacting.
I am expecting big things from my SRP siblings, so let's hear what you have to say.

I live by the philosophy that not everything is in my control. If I can control the outcome of an event great but if I can't then I have to deal with the hand I am dealt to the best of my ability.
Life is fleeting and never guaranteed so you must enjoy it with those you love as much as possible.

I enjoy life the most when I remind myself of where my hope for the future lies. It is not dependant on anything or anyone on this planet....it is in the faithfulness of God.

It is so interesting that you say this as I know far too many people who actually live this philosophy. They go through life always looking to be the victim and trying to place blame everywhere but where it actually belongs. These "glass half empty" people are truly wearing on me.
Of course, I believe in rational egoism. I believe you should work hard to achieve your goals, play hard and enjoy your time, be proud of what you have accomplished, take responsibility for all of your actions and be confident and happy with who you are.

Through most of human history folks didn't have to worry about philosophy or enjoying life. They eked out a short miserable existence in a daily struggle for survival. In many if not most parts of the world I guess that's still the case.
I don't worry about philosophy I just enjoy life one day at time and feel lucky about my life and circumstances.

When they complain, I'd ask them to take a snap shot of the present moment that gets them all riled up. Then take a look at it & ask them if what they see is truly important to them compared to what's essential to them (frienship, familly, religion, etc...)
When I'm down, anxious & realize that I'm complaining about things like money, politics, my job, the bozo who cut me off on the highway, I take a deep breath & put things into perspective. I think about the hapiness in my household, the love & have for my wife, kids & friends, the food that I have on the table. What got me angry suddenly becomes meaningless to me.
The important things in our lives are easily forgotten, it is a great gift to be able to remember them at the right times.
